Good local choices, Mary! I’d add Tia Sophia, another great local hang out downtown, Flying Tortilla at the Airport Road end of Cerrillos Rd, Counter Culture just off Cerrillos Road, and my new favorite, the French-styled Clafoutis at the end of Guadalupe.

Eat your way through those, and tell us what you think!

I have been to Tia Sophia and Flying Tortilla, but prefer the ones I wrote about to either of them. It’s such an individual choice, though–thanks for weighing in!

One of my favorite breakfast spots in town (and you’ll see by the line that I’m not alone) Tecolote Cafe on Cerillos Rd. Santa Fe is loaded with great breakfast spots. My personal quest is to see who makes the best breakfast burrito.

Billie, if you go to my archives you’ll see that I wrote up Tecolote Cafe last year–I agree with you that it’s fabulous!
